The Coffee

GEORGE Pods contain the same specialty-grade blend as the whole bean — Brazil Cerrado for body and chocolate depth, Mexico Chiapas for brightness and structure. The same two origins, the same roast profile, sealed at peak freshness in a Keurig-compatible pod.

Brew at 6 or 8oz for the full GEORGE profile. Most Keurig users default to 10–12oz — that setting over-dilutes specialty coffee. GEORGE is built for 6–8oz strength. Compatible with all Keurig brewers — K-Classic, K-Select, K-Elite, K-Cafe, K-Supreme, K-Mini — and any brewer that accepts standard K-Cup pods.

Tasting Notes

Molasses Deep sweetness through the body
Toasted Almond Warm, nutty foundation in the mid-palate
Mocha Subtle chocolate undertones in the finish
Heirloom Citrus Bright, clean close

Medium Roast · Full Body · Balanced Acidity

America’s 250th Anniversary

Coffee became widely enjoyed in American households during the late eighteenth century. Following the Boston Tea Party of 1773, many colonists shifted away from British tea imports and coffee became a popular alternative. By the time George Washington took command, coffee was part of the daily rhythm of American life.

GEORGE was created in 2026 to mark the Semiquincentennial — America’s 250th anniversary of independence. It is a limited edition. When the Semiquincentennial year concludes, GEORGE is retired. Every bag produced is part of the historical record of this moment.

What Makes This Specialty-Grade Coffee?

Specialty-grade coffee scores 80 points or higher on the Specialty Coffee Association’s 100-point evaluation scale. Coffees are evaluated through blind sensory testing by trained graders who assess aroma, flavor, body, acidity, and defects.

The classification represents a small percentage of global coffee production. GEORGE meets the specialty-grade standard. It also meets the OFC Specialty Coffee Standard — specialty grade minimum, roasted in the United States, independently lab tested, shipped fresh.
