GEORGE is a balanced medium roast built from two complementary origins. Brazil’s Cerrado region contributes body and chocolate depth — grown at 900 to 1,400 meters in Minas Gerais state, processed using pulped natural method. Mexico’s Chiapas highlands contribute brightness and structure — grown at 1,300 to 1,750 meters, processed using washed method.
Together they produce a cup that is smooth, full-bodied, and balanced — approachable enough for every morning, considered enough for every occasion. Roasted in small batches in the United States. Shipped fresh. The standard by which the rest of the collection is measured.
Tasting Notes
| Molasses | Deep sweetness through the body |
| Toasted Almond | Warm, nutty foundation in the mid-palate |
| Mocha | Subtle chocolate undertones in the finish |
| Heirloom Citrus | Bright, clean close |
Medium Roast · Full Body · Balanced Acidity
America’s 250th Anniversary
Coffee became widely enjoyed in American households during the late eighteenth century. Following the Boston Tea Party of 1773, many colonists shifted away from British tea imports and coffee became a popular alternative. By the time George Washington took command, coffee was part of the daily rhythm of American life.
GEORGE was created in 2026 to mark the Semiquincentennial — America’s 250th anniversary of independence. It is a limited edition. When the Semiquincentennial year concludes, GEORGE is retired. Every bag produced is part of the historical record of this moment.
What Makes This Specialty-Grade Coffee?
Specialty-grade coffee scores 80 points or higher on the Specialty Coffee Association’s 100-point evaluation scale. Coffees are evaluated through blind sensory testing by trained graders who assess aroma, flavor, body, acidity, and defects.
The classification represents a small percentage of global coffee production. GEORGE meets the specialty-grade standard. It also meets the OFC Specialty Coffee Standard — specialty grade minimum, roasted in the United States, independently lab tested, shipped fresh.
